Archery
The Archery Division uses toys that go 'TWANG' instead of 'BANG'. During the winter months they are sharpening their target skills on the indoor range, or competing against one of several other local clubs for a travelling trophy. Summer finds the local 'William Tells' out in the woods on the north side of the property, stalking 25-30 3D targets on a 2 mile trail.

Bullseye Pistol
Shooting on Wednesday nights on the indoor range in the winter, the Bullseye Guys have a small but devoted following. Indoor distances are 25 yards and outdoor up to 50 yards. This is one demanding discipline of pistol shooting. Join them at 6:30pm for informal practice. Targets are included in the range fee.
Combat Pistol
Evolving from Police Pistol Competition, and a derivative of International Defensive Pistol Association, the Combat Group shoots an action style of shooting that utilizes movement, cover, tactical reloading and situational awareness. Indoors in the winter, outdoors in the summer. Always Thursday nights, always 7pm. If you are unsure of this type of shooting, come out and watch. You are sure to be shooting with them the next week. Winter months brings the challenge of bowling pins the last Friday of the month. At 8pm the range is configured for casual plinking and target shooting. Targets are included in the range fee.

Several times during the year, the group holds Cowboy Matches complete with Colt six-shooters, lever action rifles, boots, buscadero rigs and side by side shotguns. The Combat Group also holds several 3-gun matches during the summer. These action packed events are filled with pistols, rifles and shotguns, sometimes fired in combination on the same stage of fire.

Highpower Rifle
Not so much a league so to speak, Wednesday and Thursday nights in the summer will find upwards of 20 shooters outdoors on the covered 100 yard range. Bring out the hunting rifle to stay familiar with it all year long. Or how about that surplus military arm? Iron sights are easy to use on one of the sturdy concrete shooting benches. This is a controlled range for everyones' safety. The club has several spotting scopes for use on these nights so don't feel equipment challenged, just come on out. Range fees include targets and spotting pasters.

From May to October, a hybrid hipower/service rifle league is run. Teams are formed and the lead spot changes hands several times during the summer. Open to members only.

Leagues for nearly every concievable shooter are run year-round; small bore, women's, men's, mixed, junior's. Open shooting is available as well. The fields are open Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Stick around after you shoot and play a game of Eucre while you enjoy a snack, grilled fresh.

The club's Amateur Trap Association affiliation allows for many competitive matches through out the season, bringing many shooters from around the Thumb and Southeast Michigan.

Junior Smallbore
BWSA has an active Junior's program running Tuesday nights. Indoor in the winter with Anschutz and Kimber target rifles for loan and outdoor with the club's M1 Carbines.
